Chartered Accountants for businesses in Sinnar
Sinnar's industrial belt covers Malegaon MIDC and the STICE estate at Musalgaon on the Nashik–Pune road. Manufacturers there, including second units of Nashik groups, are served from our Nashik office.
Anil Khatri and Associates is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Nashik. From that office we work with manufacturers at Sinnar on the Nashik–Pune road, principally at Malegaon MIDC in Sinnar taluka and the STICE estate at Musalgaon.
Many Nashik groups placed their second unit at Sinnar once the city estates had no larger plots to offer. Auto components, engineering goods, electrical items, plastics and chemicals are made here, and some food processing is carried out. The engineering side of an expansion is usually planned with care. The registrations, the bank file and the lease are often updated later.
That delay has a measurable cost. Stock moved from a city unit to Sinnar without a proper invoice can leave one registration short of credit and the other with tax it did not report. A drawing-power statement that omits the Sinnar stores understates the limit; one that counts the same goods twice overstates it, and the stock auditor records the difference. A lease held by one entity while another bills and borrows can delay a later reorganisation. We review the two units together and correct the record of the expansion before the monthly cycle is run on that basis.
This page explains how the Sinnar belt is organised, the issues that arise when a second unit is added and how engagements are run from the Nashik office. Types of work are described, and no clients are named.

Malegaon MIDC and Musalgaon
Sinnar's factories are located mainly at Malegaon MIDC near Sinnar town and at the nearby STICE co-operative estate at Musalgaon. Both lie on the Nashik–Pune road. Malegaon town, in the north of the district, is a separate place: it is a powerloom centre and has no connection with this estate.
Malegaon MIDC (Sinnar)
The estate produces auto components, engineering goods, electrical items, chemicals, plastics and wire, and some food processing is carried out there. Its plots are newer than those at Satpur. Many were taken by Nashik groups that had outgrown a single shed in the city estates and required a second unit with room to expand.
STICE, Musalgaon
The co-operative industrial estate at Musalgaon is close to the MIDC belt. Smaller and mid-sized units operate here with similar product lines. Ownership and membership paperwork differs from a standard MIDC lease, and the difference matters when land, borrowing or a change in partners is under consideration.
Second units of Nashik groups
In a common pattern, manufacturing and books remain centred on Ambad or Satpur, while Sinnar serves as the expansion plant. Stock, staff, GST and bank limits then span two locations. The question is whether both are run under one registration and one borrower, or as separate entities that supply each other.
Nashik–Pune road customers
Because of the road corridor, Sinnar units are closer to Pune OEM and tier-one plants than a city shed is. Supplies within Maharashtra carry CGST and SGST. The commercial terms resemble those found across the auto chain, with annual price negotiation, long credit and customer-owned tooling.
The work that comes up in Sinnar
Sinnar engagements often begin after a group has added a second plant, and the issues below follow from that step. See also manufacturing, auto components and family businesses.
One group, two locations
Head office, stores policy and costing may remain in Nashik city after production has moved partly to Sinnar. GST returns, e-way bills and stock statements must show where the goods actually were. If the city unit and the Sinnar unit hold separate registrations, transfers between them are supplies between distinct persons.
Job work along the Pune corridor
Parts move between Sinnar, Satpur, Ambad and Pune vendors for machining, treatment and assembly. Principal manufacturers must track return time limits and report movements on ITC-04. When a return date is missed, the outward movement becomes a deemed supply.
Bank limits for the expansion unit
A second unit usually requires a higher working-capital limit or a fresh term loan for the machines and shed. Projections and CMA data must match the capacity actually installed at Sinnar in addition to the older Ambad or Satpur figures. If stock at both places is charged, monthly drawing power must reflect both.
Land, lease and co-operative title
MIDC leases and STICE membership create different paper trails when a group reorganises, admits a new partner or offers security to the bank. Disputes are avoided later if the entity on the lease is the same entity that bills and borrows.
How we work with Sinnar units
Anil Khatri and Associates works from Office at Plot 08, Eden Complex, Gangapur Road, Nashik 422222, open 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM; other times by appointment. Sinnar is roughly an hour from the office, and clients there are served from Nashik. We visit Malegaon MIDC and Musalgaon for stock, costing, job-work reconciliations and year-end work, while the regular return and review cycle is run from the office.
We treat the city unit and the Sinnar unit as one picture. Where a group has both, registrations, inter-unit invoices and bank stock statements are checked together. Sinnar is reviewed as part of the group.
On site at the newer plant. Stores and production systems at a second unit are often installed quickly, while commissioning has priority. An early visit identifies the gaps before a bank monitoring visit or a GST notice records them.
A named Chartered Accountant. One person is responsible for the due dates and the notice replies on the engagement. Replies are sent within 48 working hours.
Customers in Pune do not change the office. Businesses in Sinnar, and their customers elsewhere, are served from the Nashik office. Meetings in Pune are arranged when the work requires them; there is no Pune office.
Sinnar as the district's expansion belt
For many Nashik families, Sinnar was the first place where enough land could be bought for a proper second line. That history is visible in the accounts. Capacity was added in steps and machines were moved from the old shed, although GST or bank files may still describe the business as a single-location unit.
Most of the early work consists of bringing that record into line with the plant as it now stands. Once registrations, stock locations and inter-unit pricing have been settled, the monthly cycle at Sinnar resembles any other manufacturing engagement in the district.
Satpur and Ambad, which often remain the first unit in the same group, are covered at /satpur/ and /ambad/. The full district map is given on the Nashik page, and Pune customers and related work from Nashik are described on the Pune page.
Common questions
Is Malegaon MIDC the same as Malegaon town?
No. Sinnar MIDC is at Malegaon near Sinnar town on the Nashik–Pune road. Malegaon town in the north of the district is a separate place and a powerloom centre. We work with both from the Nashik office, and each follows a different engagement pattern.
Do you have an office in Sinnar?
No. The firm has one office, in Nashik. Sinnar units at Malegaon MIDC and Musalgaon are served from that office, and factory visits are planned in advance.
Our customer is in Pune. Does that change GST?
Supplies within Maharashtra carry CGST and SGST. Supplies to another state carry IGST. Job work, stock transfers and e-way bills follow the same place-of-supply logic. Your accountant's place of work stays the same: Sinnar clients are served from our Nashik office.
Services
- TaxationA factory's tax position is set during the year: when a press is first used, whether small vendors are paid on time, how TDS is deducted on job work. Missed points return as disallowances and interest. Our work covers returns, planning, TDS, cross-border tax, assessments and appeals.
- GSTIn a Satpur or Ambad factory, GSTR-2B, the e-invoices and the job-work challans rarely agree on their own, and each gap can become reversed credit with interest or a notice years later. Our work covers GST from registration to the Appellate Tribunal, along with customs and foreign trade.
- Accounting and ComplianceBooks written up months late leave errors that surface at the bank's annual review or in an assessment. We keep accounts and prepare financial statements, run payroll, handle company and LLP law filings, FEMA reporting and registrations, and set up the records behind them.
- Manufacturing financeWhen a cost sheet has not been checked since the BOM was revised, a price-down is accepted on a figure nobody can defend, and stock statements drift from the audited stock until the bank asks why. We provide factory accounting, costing, inventory and working capital work, decision analysis such as make-or-buy, and MIS and profitability reporting.
- Transfer pricingA Nashik manufacturer that buys from its parent abroad, or sells through its own overseas distributor, must prove each year that those prices are at arm's length; where proof is thin, an officer substitutes a price of their own. We prepare documentation, the accountant's report and benchmarking, and support assessments.
